SEEING AND BEING SEEN

*NEW group starting 18th September 2019*

Growing intensity is facing each of us personally and life at large. The need for connection, authenticity, clarity and presence within and without ourselves is being demanded in unprecedented ways. Revealing more of who we truly are and what it is we would like and need to bring into the world becomes more urgent.

Using the line of inquiry, through biographical exploration and artistic work (no previous experience needed) this programme of twelve weeks will explore this theme of expanding ‘seeing and being seen’. Sharing it with others, in a safe, held space of attentive listening and warm receptivity offers a deepening experience.

Why do we eat? Can conscious eating really improve our well-being?

We would like to offer a space to explore how the gifts of food can support our lives. In each session we will share latest research on the health benefits of food, there will be a space for bringing & sharing questions.  We will end the session by cooking and sharing a meal together.

Beauty and Patience

A Nonviolent Communication Workshop
Saturday 17th August 2019
9.30am to 5.00pm @ St. Luke’s Therapy Centre Stroud

The more we use words that in any way imply criticism, the more difficult it is for us to stay connected to the beauty within ourselves and others. NVC is a language of compassion which supports the expression of our inner beauty and makes it possible to see the beauty in others. It supports the capacity to live from a place of welcome for all that it means to be human. This day we will work together re-membering this language that was once natural to us.

Sponsored Walk raised £624.00 – A huge Thank you

On June 9th,  9 adults, 2 children and two dogs set off from St Luke’s car park with the sun shining and our spirits high.

A great day of beautiful scenery, lots of fresh air and exercise, lovely weather and good company was enjoyed by all.

The purpose of the walk  – to raise money for our patient therapy fund so that we can make the therapies offered at St Luke’s accessible to all.

The walk raised £624.00  so a big thank you to those that took part and to our sponsors.

We hope to do the same again next year- date will be be released in the autumn.
