The Art of Dialogue – exploring deep conversation – 13th and 14th April

The Art of Dialogue with Pauline Marksteiner and Jane Chase
13th and 14th April
Friday evening 7pm – 9pm and Saturday 9.30am – 5.30pm

True dialogue is an art form and takes a conscious path. Becoming aware of the generative power of encounter allows us to find ways of experiencing the potential of how a relationship can help us grow and deepen the sense of who we are. In this Tuesday evening series we will use creative exercises and conversation to explore the theme of meeting from the heart of authentic encounter, whilst also exploring what prevents this from happening. Participants will be encouraged to cross over from the everyday and move into experiences of deep listening that encourages personal change and growth.

Cost: £80

Co-facilitated by Jane Chase and Pauline Marksteiner, both BACP counsellors with many years of experience working with individuals, couples and groups.

Oasis – A support group for living creatively – starting 17th Jan

NEW Group starting 17th Jan 2018

Questions of growing intensity are facing each of us personally and life at large. Expanding the understanding of our own life story with its seemingly disconnected events and experiences develops the capacity to build new bridges within ourselves and towards others offering more depth, meaning and a greater sense of coherence.

Using the line of inquiry, we discover that our narratives are unique, unparalleled and precious even though we may previously have considered our lives worthless, insignificant or broken.

This programme is structured into three pathways with 12 weekly sessions. Biographical explorations and artistic work (no previous experience is needed) will accompany this process. Sharing it with others in a safe space of attentive listening and warm receptivity offers another dimension.

Start date: 17th January 2018
Time: Wednesdays 2-5pm

Venue: St Luke’s Therapy Centre, Cainscross Road, Stroud GL5 4EX

Cost: assessed according to individual means during interview

No. of participants: 8 max (plus 2 experienced facilitators)

Further Infringements on our right to choice in the NHS

Prescibing of Homeopathic and other remedies and medicines on the NHS.

The NHS is seeking to ban a range of prescription items, aiming to save some £141 miliion pounds. This would include banning homoepathic, anthroposophic and herbal medicines.

If you think homeopathic and herbal remedies which also include a lot of anthroposophic remedies , help with your health, even enabling you to avoid the use of antibiotics for example , and that these remedies should remain available on the NHS as a patient choice, please say so.

Some homeopaths have started a parliamentary petition. Please click on link below to sign.
