Further Infringements on our right to choice in the NHS

Prescibing of Homeopathic and other remedies and medicines on the NHS.

The NHS is seeking to ban a range of prescription items, aiming to save some £141 miliion pounds. This would include banning homoepathic, anthroposophic and herbal medicines.

If you think homeopathic and herbal remedies which also include a lot of anthroposophic remedies , help with your health, even enabling you to avoid the use of antibiotics for example , and that these remedies should remain available on the NHS as a patient choice, please say so.

Some homeopaths have started a parliamentary petition. Please click on link below to sign.

1 day workshop – Resilient Living

Exploring inner and outer paths to nourishment and encouragement.

By being more in touch, present and attentive to what arises within us, we can find our lives to be more nourishing and encouraging. In this one day workshop we will explore the themes of self care, the difference between emotions and feelings, relationship patterns with their hindrances and potential, and finding other ways to connect with ourselves in a more meaningful way.

The workshop will use creative exercises and dialogue suitable for anyone interested in personal development and self-transformation.

The workshop is co-facilitated by Jane Chase and Pauline Marksteiner, both BACP counsellors with many years of experience working with individuals, couples and groups.

Building works July – December 2017

St Luke’s is currently undergoing some building work in what was the Doctor’s wing of St Luke’s.

During this time St Luke’s will have a greatly reduced parking facility so please bear with us. If patients are able we ask that they park elsewhere or walk/catch public transport during this time.

From Monday 4th September until further notice the reception and waiting area will be down in the community room in the basement, which can be accessed by following the path, found at the bottom of the car park, through the garden to the door and waiting area.

Whilst we are making every effort to minimise the impact on our patients we appreciate that some disruption in inevitable. Please accept our apologies for this.
